A cycle pack covering all of these routes is available from www.walescyclebreaks.com

Mid Wales boasts three of the new Cycle Break Centres in Wales – this one in Knighton and Presteigne and two others in BRECON and RHAYADER. Each offers a series of 5 superb circular day rides for you to enjoy, making them an ideal base for a holiday with friends and family.

Five rides around two border towns.

These cycle routes have been chosen to follow the easiest gradients. The shorter routes along the valley bottoms are the easiest; the longer ones over hills are more strenuous. But cycled over a day, with a picnic, you get a fantastic sense of achievement, wonderful views and a great sense of history.

Ride A – The Teme Valley (9 miles)
Ride B – The Heart of Wales Railway (14 miles)
Ride C – Wapley Hill Hillfort (11 miles)
Ride D – Standing Stones and Castles (13 or 18 miles)
Ride E – Two Border Towns ( 33 miles)
