MAD - Machynlleth Air Day

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain Machynlleth Rotary Club in partnership with the Royal Air Forces Association arec holding Machynlleth Air Day known as 'MAD'.
The day includes something for everyone:
For young children and the sport minded the Leisure Centre holds its 20th Birthday on the same day.
Families and older children will find many different displays, stalls and music throughout the day.
For older members of the community there will be a tea party with a wartime theme (places are limited, invitationj only) and the Leisures Centre will hold a tea dance a few days later.
The RAF falcons parachute display team, aircraft fly pasts, model rocket launching and displays, live music, paintball, falconry display, and many other attractions. Adult tickets are £5, Children(under 16) £3, and discount family tickets are available please contact us for details. Tickets are available from Top Shop, The White Lion Hotel, Dyfi Crafts and Clothing and from the entrace to the football field on the day.
