May Music Festival

Thursday 3 May 2012 - Monday 7 May 2012

Be transported! Join us for a magical musical tour of Europe, following in the footsteps of travellers on the ‘Grand Tour’. Our visit centres on the cultural hotspots of Versailles, Venice
and Vienna, to soak up their scintillating atmosphere of fashion and musical heritage.
Crickhowell’s May Festival, set amidst the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park, offers audiences an unique musical experience, which this year sees the first Welsh
performances of works by Vivaldi and Lully.

This year also sees the welcome return of our dream team of soloists, including tenor James Gilchrist singing Schubert and soprano Elin Manahan Thomas in Mozart. Our wonderful choir is also on hand to add its characteristic gusto to the proceedings.
Don’t miss the journey of a lifetime!
