No matter how small your garden, its surprising what you can grow in it. The inspiring organic display gardens at this world famous eco-centre demonstrate how you can provide natural habitats, harvest water, create nutritional compost and grow all sorts of useful crops in the smallest of spaces.

Garden Directions

Directions: 3 miles north of Machynlleth on the A487 or Sustrans Route 8. Travel by train to Machynlleth, then by bus (30, 32, X32 or 34), by taxi, by bike or on foot.


Garden Opening Times

Open 2007: 15 Jan 23 March 10am dusk, 24 Mar 27 Oct 10am 5.30pm,
School summer holidays 21 Jul 2Sep 9.30am 6pm, 28 Oct Easter 2008 10am dusk.*
The cliff railway operates 24 Mar 28 Oct
*closed 23 27 Dec 07 and 2 13 Jan 08.

Arrive by train and receive 50% off the price of your admission ticket! To support sustainable transport we now offer half-price admission for all visitors on production of a valid train ticket to Machynlleth.
