For example at Pennant Mellangell there are truly ancient Yews, at St Dogfans Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant the churchyard is curvilinear and Celtic in origin, and at St Myllins Llanfyllin there iis a fascinating gravestone with a coded "Conceit" inscription.
Car parking is usually available in the surrounding areas, dogs not normally allowed, there are shops hostelries and cafes in abundance across the Deanery.
